jbeckj- need some help- please may i ask what make /size motor you used for the diesel on kraka?..i am buying an old petter 20 hp for my 40 ft sub...i plan to use a golf cart motor - high torque- about 10 hp- 16 hp or about 10-14 kw to run submerged 48 volt system..and also can i ask you one other thing: what is the shell plating on kraka?..thinking of using 3/16 or close to 6mm..since i can bend the plate myself using ratchet straps. i would be happy with 30 meters of operational depth

We didnt, but observed the same rules as recreational divers, so we made sure we were not near any shipping lanes

Sorry...theres not going to more diving with Kraka. She is being decommissioned.

No, she is just too old. She was not build to last.
Besides...its too much work keeping 2 submarines operational
