To get a better understanding for this film (which is truly remarkable). Go watch 'The 5 Obstructions'. There is much more going on here than is immediately obvious. This film is not about how a perfect human acts or performs various tasks, it's about the separation between what is perfect and what is human. Jorgen Leth is brilliant, albeit mostly misunderstood by American culture.

The best part about this short is that these kind of short films are all you see at your usual University assignments for Cinema or Art degrees.

Pretentious films that don't deliver anything besides a "experimental" (they label it as experimental because they have no idea what they want to say with it) voyage through random dialogues and situations.

You can call it art, because it certainly is, but this is nothing more than your typical art student approach to film.

I thought it was a parody of the pretentious crap you get dragged to by your artsy girlfriend in college. Didn't realize this was serious.

im guessing it is a satirical piece, supposed to make the viewer reconsider the unhuman-like standards which we expect in the "perfect human", and in that way, due to its unnaturality, it cant/shouldn't be a perfect human. (that is my interpretation ok)
