Battle of Wakahaung Karen State (Myanmar Victory over Rebels & Students after 8888)

Video take in Karen State during the war against the KNU Rebels, taken by amateur video cameramen. This is one of the last Karen rebel bases inside Myanmar, currently the rebels are based inside Thailand near the Myanmar border.

The civil war has been going on since Independence and so far the Myanmar people and the government is winning. Over the decades ethnic rebels and communists had managed to take over most of Myanmar, but now they have all been pushed back to the borders and soon the Myanmar Army will be victorious once again.

KNU sickers always fired rockets into Myawaddy town, killing a lot of civilians and their own kayin people. now that their bases are fucked up, they are no longer too much of a big deal for the country. they hide in jungles and in foreign countries. now they are no longer capable of harming Myawaddy.
