@Sphynx404 It's still in my to-run list. :) I love this game despite its flaws, and I already have a detailed plan for speedrunning it, and a willing partner (my wife ;D).

That's really sad to hear...
I loved playing this game years ago and got a lot of nostalgia from seeing your playthroughs! Here's hoping for more! It really is a charming game.

They should of made this game with online play. :X

thank you we will try :D

I'm afraid my running partner has given up on the project. :(
I am planning on doing a single-player soon, but I have something else in mind first.

@exaurius Blaze & Blade is very grind-friendly, I'm afraid. It's a lot easier to progress if you just spend time killing stuff in the area before the boss, because the experience to level doesn't go up very fast and nor does the experience from crystals go down too fast either. It's not uncommon to finish the whole game at around level 180. I think a decent speedrun would finish before level 100...

I have found another partner to do this run with, but we'll be starting from scratch and making it better than before.
Next in the Old Palace is the four switches that activate the bridge. Then you fall into the lower puzzle area... you need to activate both switches in the circle area while the red light is on, then you can progress up to the boss, Dark Elf.
