Skilled Eddie your not to skilled; invest in some safety training classes your customers will appreciate it. Most electricians in residential are not qualified journeymen

The panel is a single phase panel I'm an electrician and I work in live panels in residential all the time without safety equipment along with most electricians. Now working inside 3 phase equipment that's a different story.

Dumbbell no safety equipment while working on an energized panel. No face shield, no safety gloves, no Nomex suit. Electrical tools which are being used are not for energised circuits.
