SHAKESPEAR:
And in Spain people are preparing for the fifth anniversary of a terrorist attack on M11 trains in Madrid. Almost two hundred were killed and thousands wounded in the worst al Qaeda attack in Europe. Here's more on the story.

STORY:
Spain will be marking the fifth anniversary of the Madrid train bombings on Thursday the 11th. One hundred and ninety-one people were killed and thousands more wounded in the attack.

Security cameras at the Atocha train station captured the moment when ten bombs packed in rucksacks began exploding on four trains filled with commuters making their way to Madrid back in 2004.

Three weeks later seven men, including two suspected ringleaders of the train bombings, blew themselves up in a suburban apartment after police closed in on them. In a videotape the bombers claimed the attacks were revenge for Spain sending troops to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Five years later survivor Angeles Dominguez says the attacks were life changing.

[Angeles Dominguez, Bombing Survivor]:
Being a victim changes your life. Because, well that's what the word does. If you are a victim you are a victim for life. Of course, logically there are people who are still affected psychologically and have physical problems.

[Angeles Dominguez, Bombing Survivor]:
Well I would ask society to find a way not to forget. The date of 11th of March should be a memory not just for the victims in Spain but the European day for all victims. And unfortunately any person who is watching me right now could also become a victim at any time. No one thinks it's going to happen to them.

A minute of silence is expected to be held at the Atocha train station. It will be led by Mayor Ruiz-Gallardon on Friday to commemorate the victims.

  • @YorySesca We're not all like that.

I'm 100% sure a certain amount of your country's population is dumb as bricks too.

  • @dj77318 I don't assume anything. What I know is that the government itself has stated that there was no link to Al-Qaeda, and yet everyone was told there was, just like 9/11, just like 7/7, etc, etc, etc,

  • This is what happens when you side with americants. I feel bad for the Spanish people having to suffer the americants and their arrogance/ignorance. Requestan dodo los gringas que puedan.

  • @mustbeburtreynolds You still think ETA did it moron?

  • @dj77318 A nameless, faceless person roaming the internet, just like you.

The difference between us? I absorb objective facts and employ logic, and you absorb network news and employ ignorance.

  • @AntiNWOMusic The only zombie here is you !

  • @mustbeburtreynolds who the fuck are you?

  • @dj77318 Why? Because he's providing raw, unbiased facts that challenge your viewpoint?

You are the definition of a delusional thinker. You believe in impossible situations and circumstances and then absolutely deny facts that prove the contrary.

Die in a hole, you worthless fuck.
