Apparently, so I've learned, some gerbil pups need some assistance in eye opening if their eyes are still shut after 20 to 22 days. Once about a year ago, I had a female, Kiroya, who gave birth to a litter of 8. A male, Boldern, had enclosed eyes for 3 weeks. A wet washcloth and sanitary hands make for a happy little gerbil with sight! Love the pups! You really know what you're doing.

hey there, i have a few gerbils myself and i am using aspen bedding which they dont seem to like very much, i moved away from cedar as for some reason it gave them bloody noses, what is it you use?
