good plow for thin top soils as it mixes the soil, although it will bring rocks to the top worse than a hog.

In the Midwest where the main cash crops are we call those chisel plows.

Hardly a chisel plough! they are a lot bigger and heavier. It is a cultivator in fact it looks uncannily like a Harry Ferguson field cultivator I used when I was a kid . Another name would be "Tiller"

THey show it "ripping" up an area already plowed and loosened? Big deal. Show this ripper working on hard unplowed ground!

@blondana - If you watch the vid to the end, there is footage of the ripper working in unbroken ground. Sorry it took a while to get to the part you wanted to see. . .
