fallout 3 crashing on windows 7

fallout crashes on my laptop,running windows 7, is there any patch or crack or anything that will fix this crash?????. it happens only when i actualy try to play this game.... help me out..................... thankx

when I installed fallout 3 I entered the game and worked properly but when I came out from vault 101...crash...

This helps!!!

Open up the fallout.ini file in: My Documents\My Games\Fallout3

Find the line:

bUseThreadedAI=0

change it to:

bUseThreadedAI=1

Add another line after it and insert:

iNumHWThreads=2

This will limit the game to 2 cores and prevent the engine bug from causing the game to freeze. And if it still freezes, change iNumHWThreads=2 to iNumHWThreads=1

I have the same problem. Fallout NV works like a beauty on mine, but an older game doesn't? What the hell?
