  • thumbs up for top gear

  • @dchil15 None that I'm aware of - obviously had work to do during the day of the shoot as well, but didn't see any personally. The fact that I didn't hear of any from the cynical old beggars who looked out over the car park area makes me suspect that there was little or nothing in the way of bent "props". From memory, the shoot took about 6 hours with a number of occasions where cars were shuffled around for different angles of filming, so there's always the chance that there was some.

  • @elefriendly how many times did he wreck?

  • how do you drive back out?

  • the modern day health and safety executive , pc brigade , tree huggers and islington sandal wearers would have kittens at this advert.

  • haha damn I remember that advert.

  • u have obv never driven 1! temendos car! maby even the best saloons ever made! so much better then a Ford!!

  • Always one of my favourite adverts :)

  • Saw that advert being filmed in our office car park - absolutely awesome! With the exception of the closing sequence which was filmed, I think, over the road at what was then the Holiday Inn, the rest was filmed at the IBM UK Headquarters at North Harbour, Cosham, near Portsmouth. The IBM building is clearly seen in the background shots. Austin shipped in transporter loads of cars to fill the newly-completed car park extension. Not much work done for a day or so as I recall!
