They're called Cirrostratus Clouds. They're documented in meteorology books written centuries before the invention of airplanes.

ps: this spray seems light to some days we have here: I've whitnessed days where there was no single cloud and they came in so heavy from early in the morning and by noon the whole fucking sky is white and the sun gone!
Other trails just fall right out of the sky to ground level at about a rate of 5 meters per second, I've seen all this: unbelievable!
As Aaron Russo said: I'm mad as hell my friends, my dear human heart is broken by this shit!

yeah same shit in Switzerland, we've just had a day of MASSIVE spray and that results in a thick mist at ground level, happy breathing!
and here also, most of the folks I know tell me that the trails are in my head, fuck those fools man!
my girlfriend has two shots of them one in Locarno and the Other in Arosa, I was there when she took the one in Locarno. I see them all the time myself.

its a 30sec. time lapse still shot of around 23 seconds of this vid. Also at the same time you will see a Canadian Navy ship with many people on deck moor then leave by the crane area.
