Sorry, but the dancing and street theater is just plain tacky.
Next time, bring either a real or symbolic Birthday cake. Maybe even sing Happy Birthday.
It's simple, it's workable, it's fittingly respectful. Jefferson was not much for all the elaborate, over-the-top theatrics. He would definitely appreciate the simplicity of a cake and song.
Guarantee you'll get a much better response next time.
