I put this video together to share with you the beginning of Abby's life. She is an amazing little girl that has been through so much and has beat the odds!
Many babies are sent home not knowing they have a problem. We were fortunate to learn of Abby's CHD (congenital heart defect) while she was still in the womb. Had we not known, been prepared, the outcome might have been very different.
Please, insist that your newborn is checked because in many cases, if the baby appears healthy, they do not bother to look.

I can't believe how far she's come! Holding her the other day, having her say my name (even if she can't say Jay lol)...it just makes me realize how much there is to treasure in life...when life feels like it is not worth it, think of Abby and you have a reason to fight :-)

May G-d continue to bless your strong little survivor and you both! I am expecting a little boy 1/31/09 and i pray that he is as beautiful and resilient as Abigail. Again, may G-d's peace be with you (Asalamualaikum).
