Can any technically minded people work out how many different mikes and pick-ups he had on that acoustic? Oh and what the tuning might be?..... well it looks like he has just the one electric guitar pickup. sounds like he has more than that. it may be bleeding into the vocal mic as the vocal mic seems quite sensitive.

the tuning is CFCCGD (enjoy coming back up to standard haha)

@Lilmisstory a trance is the best way to describe it,perfect comment. im playng 20 years and i know i will never get near him for skill,he was one of the most naturally gifted musicians of our time,the fact that his voice is so perfect is a happy accident

Aaaah just beautiful, John at his finest.. He has never ceased to amaze me with his musical skills.. What I love about this video, apart from the obvious, is the way he's in an utter trance and you can see him coming out of it at the end of the song... he opens his eyes and looks like he's thinking 'wha the feck am I doin here?!...' R.I.P John.. <3 Legend.
