here's a short demo of the split function of the Roland Juno Di.
basically, you can have one sound on the lower 2 octaves on the keyboard, and a totally different sound on the rest.
this is one of my favorite functions on this synth
anddd....my phone went off in the last little part
but at least my ringtone on my phone was made from my synth, so even that could be considered a demo :D
I have roland juno di myself, but i wonder how to save sounds and combinations in the "Bank" ? How to do that ? Please help

it's the same as "dual" sounds
after you select the 2 sounds and have it how you want, you have to more the blinking underscore thing that shows where you are on the screen to where it's under the number of the top line
after that, you just click Wright and name it and all that jazz
thanks for the view, and i hope i helped :]

I have a Roland EXR-7, and i don't know how to configure the instruments os each side of the split. would you know how to do that?

it should say "split" with a small arrow beneath it around the 3rd C key
my synth just has a button to press that says "split" and then you choose the upper and lower instruments :P
i've never heard of the EXR-7
so i'm gonna go look it up and get back to you
