  • @SpiderShane1 You're such a retard. Why should we distribute money to everybody equally? America is not about team work, it's about succeeding for yourself. Why should an unemployed person receive the same amount as a successful lawyer or doctor? I got a reality check for you Curly, there is no such thing as a free lunch. If you're not rich, that's you're own fault. You say that their money sits in banks and it hurts the economy. How so? Surely you wouldn't mind providing details

  • @SpiderShane1 Also, are you speaking for all "average homeowners?"

  • @SpiderShane1 Then what is the occupy movement all about? What are the goals? I have seen footage of occupiers fighting each other and all sorts of disagreements. Again, Occupy protestors and the movement have not concrete ideas.

BTW, what corporations have done that? If you're so educated, please state some facts. I would love for you to convince me that you're right by showing me some statistics and info.

  • @SpiderShane1 Making sure that every child has an education, electricity, clean water, sewers, and a police department/fire department is not socialism.

  • @SpiderShane1 I have never had any student loans. I have paid for my own college, with the help of my parents. I've been working since I was 12 and my parents made an investment for my tuition before I could walk. Of course, you wouldn't know anything about that because socialist don't work, they live off the government.

BTW, public schooling is not a form of socialism. Why? The government has to do things we can't do indivicdually i.e. defending our borders, police, fire etc.

  • @SkunkBud87 Based on your comments, I gather that you are a capitalist. You probably think socialists are peices of shit, huh?

Well who do you think paid for your student loans to get into Stanford(I still think you're lying about that)? I tell you who paid for that...a socialist system.

And you say that your mother is a school teacher...you DO realize that the public education system is a form of socialism, don't you?

It's funny how you bash an idea, yet have no problem reaping the benefits.

  • @SkunkBud87 And the occupy movement has very little to do with taxing the rich. Please read into a given subject before you form uneducated opinions about it.

    OWS is about accountability.

Do you really think it makes sense to handover billions of dollars to corporations who completely fucked themselves in the first place, while the average homeowner who has done nothing wrong gets left out to dry. They don't give a fuck about the people, they just care about lining their pockets - even more.

  • @SkunkBud87 The reason the 1% pays the majority of taxes is because THEY HAVE ALL THE MONEY. If the money was spread out more evenly throughout the middle class, more taxes would actually be paid, because the middle class are the largest consumers in the USA, whereas billionairs typically just let their money sit in the banks.

Money has to be spent in order to be taxed, and the top 1% typically just let their money sit in their bank accounts, which does nothing for the economy.

  • @SpiderShane1 I like how you have no legitimate comeback. Sucks to suck

  • @mstride76 Just because I'm a college student doesn't mean I'm rich, but I'm not on welfare either. My mom is a teacher and my dad is a mechanic. Come back reading my books? I think you mean go back to reading my books. I just think that most of these occupiers are morons because they have no concrete arguments. They want more taxes for the rich, which I think is ridiculous because the 1% pays for 40% of the nations taxes. It's bullshit. Socialism will never work in this country.
