That is not a side kick. It is a round kick.

This is not a side kick!

Any beginner could tell you that this is a roundhouse kick. Some call the roundhouse a turning kick, or mawashi geri in traditional karate. But this is definitely not a side kick.

A side kick is a pushing motion with the edge, heel and sole of the foot.

Honestly, this guy isn't good at all and mushy is right. Kamasu, this is more karate style with less windup compared to Thai kicks. Plus, this ISN'T A FUCKING SIDE KICK.
