This was a hike to Finger Rock located in Tucson, AZ. It is one of the difficult hikes of Tucson area. I climbed up to the base of the peak. I didn't feel comfortable climbing up to the peak without someone there up there with me or without climbing gear.

  • That's a vertical climb, man! You're good, you're FAST! I salute you. I hope I'd get more tips from you. Have you been doing that regularly - you look like a pro! Do you train? I'd like to show you some of my videos that might just interest you... Keep in touch!

  • Hey there. I just got back from vacation!

I was doing a lot at rocks and ropes last year but due to an injury to my wrist i haven't been doing a lot lately.

I am planning on getting back into rocks and ropes within a few weeks and hopefully do more outside as well.

Would love to see your videos

I guess you live in arizona? whereabouts?

    see you around!

  • I'm so glad you got down safely, Nick. On May 22, 2008, I was hiking on the flanks of Mt. Lemmon and a freak gust of wind blew me off a 60-foot cliff. I almost died. So when your friend tells you, "You know, if you fall, this is going to be on America's Funniest Home Videos," I wasn't laughing, 'cause I know what it feels like to fall that far. I view mountains a bit differently now. Take good care of yourself, Nick.

  • I hope you're doing okay now. And make sure of it before climbing again. It might be too dangerous. I'm from Phoenix, Az... And I love it so much here-- Az is the venue for extreme outdoor sports. Hope to hear more from you..
