Mule Days 2006

Every year in Bishop California they have Mule Days. Frequently they have a 20 mule team participate in their annual parade. The mules have to be collected from their winter pasture, harnessed up and then do the parade. This show gives you an idea what it takes and some folks involved. i was surprized that mule days was so fun i thought i would not like it but it was great my kids won the mutton busting a few years ago my son won the boys and my girl won the girl's comp it was real fun just wish i had it on cam

The 20 mule team has retired, they sold all their mules really cheap.

We understand the Borax 20-Mule Team will be here in Bishop Ca for the 40th annual Bishop Mule Days May 18-24th. The world famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the Priefert Percherons and Texas Thunder will be joining them. It's going to be a great show.

Watching the mule teams passing by our hotel during the Mule Days parade, you kinda get a respect for the breed. They were the backbone of the early settlements here in the high sierra mountains. Thank you for sharing.
