Seipai kata by Shinjou Masanobu

Seipai kata presented by 3rd generation Goju Ryu karate master instructor, Shinjou Masanobu. The late master was a direct student of 2nd generation Goju Ryu karate mater, Yagi Meitoku, a direct studemt olf founder, Miyagi Chojun. Yagi sensei described Shinjou as a man who closely resembled Miyagi Chojun's poer and technique. Master Shinjou was responsible for establishing the Shobukan, which has branches worldwide.

Great Performance of a Master Kata.

Youngsters should perceive many of the hidden techniques within the Kata. Prime example is the emphasis on the Stomp to the body just thrown, not the double punch strike.

Excellent. I loved his performance of the little known Advanced Kata Ryuko

that is call kakato mae geri. I never thought of it as pre-WWII, but just as kakato mae geri.
