  • I've got an Mk1 Fiesta in the USA with a bad motor. How much would a nice motor that would drop in cost me ? Where would I get one ?

  • great looking car mate !

  • that sounds fuckin joke man nice one

  • :O

  • @letmelickit

Dip stick popping out IS BAD - same as oil cap blowing off. DO NOT BUY A CAR thats engine is popping dipstick/oilcap.

It's called piston ring blowby - meaning as the piston rises on its compression stroke the fuel./air slips past the piston rings and pressurizes the crank case/oil and thats what pops the oil dipstick etc out.

It'll mean new pistons, new rings, a rebore, probably a crank regrind oversize shells big and small ends - bottom end rebuild

    BLOW BY IS BAD!!!!

  • nice

  • Is that a common problem with the dipstick popping out ? Anyone have a solution ? I fancy a 2ltr zetec for my mk2. What spec you running to get to 192bhp ? carbs, manifold and exhaust i asume ?

  • @originalp3anut

do the golf light fit in easy or do you have to change the fittings?
