  • Great stuff! I fully support and encourage you to continue with whatever it is you're wanting with making these videos. One question which I feel is fair to ask. Do you live by these ideas or just talk about them? I mean I've seen tons of people who hide behind tattoos that say "peace" or "love" then flip people off in traffic. What are your thoughts on these things?

  • @xirishmagicx Hey Sean! Thanks so much for your comment! I know exactly what you mean! I personally have a few friends who do very similar things. I take my practice very seriously, which is the reason I make these videos, to benefit other people. If there's one thing I want to use this short life for its to be of the most benefit to as to the most amount of people! Life just feels more meaningful that way ! Do you have a practice of some type?

  • @GeraldP1983 My practice is a discipline of healthy "mental hygiene" if you will. Being as positive as possible as much of the time. Zen would be a great similarity only it's not similar because I'd be stealing an understanding from you if I gave a similarity. I am very passionate about life and developing myself on all levels to be very skilled in feeling joy and very unskilled at being miserable. I am very passionate about experiencing life for what is versus imposing my past onto my future.

  • @xirishmagicx Beautiful! :] Thanks for sharing!

  • You can't enjoy anything, although you may be able to find a silver lining to some unpleasant experiences. Some experiences are extremely painful & traumatic,& despite what Nietzsche said about being strengthened by what doesn't kill you, there are some experiences which can psychological cripple & warp you, even if you seem to survive them.Rather than talking about trivial frustrations such as having to listen to music that you don't like or traffic jams, consider losing something you care abt.

  • Like everything, the country music is not good or bad. The country music just is :)

  • Impressed..!

  • That definately helped, thanks for taking the time :)

  • And there in lies the solution to many of our problems! :) We have a very hard time controlling the outside world, but we have ability to completely control our inside world. And through this we can begin to shape our lives, our experiences, into what we want them to be, even if life doesn't always give us what we want, and more often then not it doesn't! :) Hope this helps Sarah, thank you!

  • Hey Sarah! Thanks for your comment!:)

Well our mind defines how we experience our world, so you liking or disliking a shirt is totally based on your taste or style etc. Someone else might come in and buy the exact shirt you never would. This doesn't mean you should buy stuff you don't like, but points more towards our ability to change the way we feel about things around us. You don't have to dislike something, its ultimately a choice, our own choice.
