  • @GaijinPrincess I had completely forgotten about this video. ::sigh:: it would probably have been better if I hadn't. Usually I am useless at following patterns, so I kept the rough idea in mind and designed my own idea. I'm planning to make a kimono jacket and hakama set with a pretty over-kimono jacket. Similar in design to what Inuyasha and Chihiro from Spirired Away wear. The hakamas turned out great, it just probably would've been better if I stuck to traditional for the rest. PM me 4 pics.

  • Thank you very much that was the one problem I had with my homemade kimono it was not setting right but you answered all my questions with this thanks again.

  • @welwisher A girl is never to old for a doll. It's how she plays with it that has to change as she matures ^_- Did you finish it ?

  • Oh, this is perfect! I followed your link to your web page, and you mentioned making a small practice kimono first, and that is just perfect for me! I have a little baby doll I absolutely adore even though I'm too old for baby dolls, and I can make the practice kimono for her! We could match! (Except I intend to make hers look cuter. ;) )
