This is a demonstration showing how to make the blanket stitch on cardstock. I repurpose cards and make tags decorated with a crochet edge. The blanket stitch is the first step before creating the crochet edge. To make the blanket stitch you will need a needle with a wide eye such as a tapestry needle. You can see the decorated tags in this post: http://knittingaura.blogspot.com/2010/05/tags-from-recycled-cards.html

  • Thank-you for sharing this. I am in the process of crocheting lace edgings to use in mini albums and this gives me so much inspiration... `donna~

  • @grimmydl What a wonderful idea for a mini album. I'm sure they will turn out beautiful.
