SATV Parodies Media Stream Compilation

This is an episode/presentation of pop culture parodies created by the National Music Camp 2011 Media Stream. In the media stream students learn the many aspects of video production through hands on creation of video works.

Sketches in order of appearance:

1. Random Live News Report
An excerpt from a camp project this into's the parody stream.

2. Jordan's Timbrobics - Richard Simmon's Jazzercise
Jordan incorporates the Salvation Army Timbrel into keeping fit.

3. Christian vs. Christian ad - Mac vs. PC advertisements
Sometimes we wrongly judge people by their looks.

4. Bedtime Bible Stories - Live Story reading (Robert Munch etc...)
In this satirical sketch Uncle Ray (Ray Cameron) tries to convey what he thinks are important lessons to children from some of his favourite less popular Bible stories. Thanks to the wonders of editing, no children were actually emotionally distraught.

5. CSI Simcoe with Phil Johnston - CSI Miami with Horatio Caine (David Caruso)
After assessing the situation Phil comes to a hard conclusion.

6. Salvo eBook Infomercial - Shopping Network/Product Infomercial
Ray, Evangeline, and Joel highlight the new Salvo eBook.

9. Jackson's Point - Dawson's Creek
This is the story all about Jackson, his friends and their random fictitious everyday enveloping experiences at National Music Camp.
Originally created as a parody of the television show Dawson's Creek. In this pilot excerpt we see Jackson struggle as he is faced with some rough physical and emotional obstacles with even rougher outcomes.
