The tender, pained soft vocals and uitar plucking drift the song along and yes it's very pleasant, but then what makes the song is the final section beginning around 1min 58. Epic drums, piano and shoegaze type introspective guitar with the wonderful poem recite

This is my favourite song of all time. In Remote Part is without question one of the best album of all time.

@superjuce As far as I'm aware, they are on a break right now, although I hear they're performing at a Scottish festival in Aberdeen sometime this summer. Apart from that I don't think they have anything else planned. Roddy Woomble, lead singer however, has just released a new (2nd) solo album which is absolutely brilliant and I saw him a few months ago. Seriously recommend. Played a couple of Idlewild classics which was such a treat!
