http://NintendoParts.com.au - This is part 2 of a detailed video tutorial guide on how to replace (repair, fix) a Nintendo DS Lite NDSL bottom screen from NintendoParts.com.au
good video...I think I can do it now. I used to work in a repair shop for vcr's etc. those drove me crazy...sometimes a gear would break and you had to replace it. then all the gears had to be properly aligned.
Excellent series. It really helped me fix my daughter's NDSL.
One trick you might be interested in: with the black wire, before you remove it, take a long thread and tie a slipknot around the head of the black wire. when you pull it through, it will take the thread with it. Undo the slipknot and let the thread hang. When you are ready to thread the black wire under the game socket, put the slipknot around the head of the black wire and pull the thread on the other side of the socket.
Can someone help me on mines the top screen only turns on and it says gameboy

That's a hell of a lot of air pockets between the LCD and touch capacitive screens... :/ Any way to resolve that?
