I've had psychological tests in the past, which concluded me more a rational person, not an emotional person. Why did Angel Beats! made my cry? I think Otonashi reminded me of Tomoya, they both had harships and sad moments, but in the end enjoy life to the fullest. Added up it made me cry, the ending of Angel Beats! reminded me of Nagisa's and Ushio's (illusionary) deaths. Plus the graduation scene was sad too =) Its good to cry once in a while. =)

@NeoTomoyakun I saw Angel Beats! before Clannad (it was my fourth anime) but I really don't understand how you can cry at one but not the other. I mean, I'm not saying it's a crime but it's just pretty shocking to me.

But yes, if you like Clannad, you probably gonna like Angel Beats! as well.

It did touch me emotionally, but wasn't able to make me cry, Angel Beats! on the other hand did make me cry, that ending scene reminded me of when Nagisa died, and the protagonist of that series resembles Tomoya quite a bit. Never the less, Jun Maeda did great work on both series.

On the verge of... But never cried during the series. Another work of Jun Maeda was able to make me cry though.
