  • as long as you get plenty of sun and don't have to worry about freezing problems or home heating applications this could work for a small DHW system

  • If you dont have a ciculating pump, it's best to have a tank above (higher in elevation) to the solar water heater. Hot water expands and is more bouyant so it will float to the tank, cold water is more dense so it will sink to the heater. This in effect causes a natural convection which will keep your water hot without the need for a pump.
