@MultiNatester ...which is more Agnostic than Christian (just an observation). Again his lyrics are vague and far reaching. He tends to be more indirect than direct with his lyrics - unless you ask him directly. He said in an interview that the song Digital Bath, off of White Pony is a sexual fantasy he had at a party about murdering a girl in a bathtub by throwing an electrical device in the water, taking her out, drying her off, and dressing her up again.

@MultiNatester But I would say, 'Yes', he does believe God exists, but not from a Christian perspective. From what I gather he's Agnostic: believes God exists but is unknown, unknowable and unrelatable. In a few songs Chino makes references to the Universe in an almost personifying tone (referring to it as if it were a living all knowing Being), but also at the same time as an unknowable force - He may view God as the Universe or that the Universe is God...

@MultiNatester I don't know for sure. The song Pink Cellphone off of Saturday Night Wrist seems to have a Christian premise but doesn't commit to it. His lyrics are mostly vague. Lyrically he writes from emotion; what he's felling at that time. Hole in the Earth is written at a time he was unsatisfied with his relationships. He does talk about and explain the meaning of a few of his songs in interviews: you'll have to look for them...

@iDeceivedOhio But wearing a cross makes you no more of a Christian than saying you are one. For example, wearing a police uniform does not make you a police officer. You have to go through the training, discipline and education of becoming an officer of the law before you become one. Likewise saying you're a police officer makes you no more of one unless you first become one.

@iDeceivedOhio Christianity is a belief that becomes a lifestyle.

A good way to look at it is: first you belong to the Church, then you believe in Jesus Christ, then you become a Christian. A Christian is someone God has separated from the immorality of the world at large through the life, suffering, death, and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ whom was willfully sent to Earth in bodily form by way of birth through his mother. There is so much to Christianity to post on here...

@MultiNatester Wearing a cross means nothing. Carrying a cross means everything in Christianity. Christianity is not a religion: it's a belief.

Christianity is about the life,death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The cross to Christians represent the suffering and death of Jesus Christ. Christians are called to bear/carry the cross of suffering and death loyally until they, like Jesus, die and after judgment are resurrected, like Jesus.
