Disney California Adventure - Buena Vista Street Construction

This clip is a slow-motion capture I grabbed while riding Monorail Red through Disney's California Adventure. You're looking away from the turnstiles down the new Buena Vista Street which is scheduled to open in 2012.

Since the contraction barriers are pretty high, I put the GoPro in to wide angle mode at its fastest frame rate of 120 fps. Then I held the camera at the very top of the monorail window to capture this clip. Video is played back at 24fps so about 1/4 speed.

This was recorded on December 25th, 2011 at 11:30am PST. We'll work on grabbing a similar clip in the opposite direction so you can see that way too.

wow. that's amazing. the carthay circle theater has a disneyland castle feel to it. i can't wait to see this all completed next summer:)
