Grishuk & Platov 1996 Europeans FD

Their FD from the 1995-1996 season. It has its moments but overall, this is probably their weakest FD because they were capable of much better. They still deserved the gold medal though since much of the material from 96 just wasn't up to scratch. In fact, I'd argue that 1996 was a very weak year for ice dance in general.

This guys are incredible. The technic is absolutely amazing, what a speed and so much fun to watch. There is no one better even today that Oksana and evgeny.

This isnt my favorite free dance of their either but it is still packed with tons of technical content and performed with outstanding execution and speed over the ice.

i love this Free Dance been one of my favorite since i first saw it at the World Championship in 1996. I think this is second to Torvill and Dean 1994 performance with the energy and all. I don't think anyone will ever be able to match them again espically with the new dance rules.
