Man, did I use to score some heavy numbers of Beach Boy records for Xmas presents in the early and mid-60's. Mono 12" vinyl was $2.49. Stereo versions were $3.20. For me this cut was always one of their heavyweights. This vid sure takes a man back to better times . Thanx for the memories MM79

No wonder Rolling Stone chose it as one of the best 500 songs ever. It's so great - innocent, sweet, very moving. Awesome harmonies. I love the tune, vocals, lyrics. You see, it's not just about cars and racing.

This song is a classic. The harmonies have to be some of the best ever recording. As far as surfer blue-eyed soul, the Beachboys had it IMO. Kinda makes me think of the song "Let it be" by the Beatles in it's content.
Just move on, "everything will be alright."
