  • @MattyE1987 If you like, I'll make a video of a white nurse talking to a white mother. Or a black nurse talking to a black mother. Or a teddy bear talking to a duck. It won't change the fact that people are people.

  • @MattyE1987 Its not being judgemental, Its what We (ER Nurses) see on a daily basis, especially at 4am.

  • @cedar85t1 same here they call 000 to get seen "faster" idiots

  • @JessdA7X I'm sure you must mean 100.5. 105 is very high.

  • "his temperature is 99.5... He does not have a temperature" lol

  • this is just sad

  • U should watch milky and friends its a pawz movie butFUNNY

  • OMG! It is universal. The only thing worse is when they call a 911 ambulance to get there.

  • i am mexican AND a nurse...Mexicans are the worst patients and have the least amount of common sense. haha

  • @JessdA7X No, we don't... at least here in Colombia. I'm an ER intern and we have cases like this all the time, specially since the stupid, corrupted government shut down the children's hospital. We get mad at first, but then we chill out and get happy to know it wasn't any serious condition. I can't speak for others, but I feel very fulfilled when I tell the mom it's all right.

  • @JessdA7X 105 is actually serious. Routinely the ER sees patients with much less.

  • @JessdA7X I'm sure they didn't. A fever that high can cause seizures.

  • These videos make me wonder if the staff make fun of me this way too. My baby had a fever of 105 and as a first time mother, I was freaking out. I have to wonder if they made fun of me when we left.

  • OMG! See sooo much of this with a few differences....this nurse seems to understand the spanish (impossibly frustrating, unable to understand) and then also with this particular complaint a lot of other people come in for not just spanish speaking and yes at 3 am and yes , has not even medicated the child at all and yes completely covered up in blankets. Ugh!!!

  • its not made up... I prob see this 5-10 times almost every day! at least this baby had insurance but I crack up with the ones that want a prescription for motrin and have no insurance!! Or the ones gave the patient an ampicillin for a fever!

  • Yep! Or baby has 100 degree temp and is alert and laughing and had immunizations yesterday

  • funny..you can't make this up

  • Hey WPB Pedi Nurses........Can you relate to this or what!

  • The 10 blankets and sweater, onsie and coat! And in 100 degree weather I bet- so true!

  • and un pearson from work, LOL.

I disagree with the list of all the blankets and clothing. Usually it's just a onesie in 36* weather in my hospital.

  • So true!

  • LOL!!! this is AWESOME!
