Sony Hi8 NightShot "X-Ray vision" infrared test

Just a quick test of the alleged "X-ray vision" capability of the original NightShot feature of Sony camcorders made prior to August 12, 1998. I used a stock, unmodified Sony CCD-TR940 Hi8 XR analog camcorder without any special filter on the lens. After August 1998, Sony modified their NightShot feature to purposely reduce its effectiveness and render it useless during daytime lighting, due to complaints that it was able to see through light colored clothing!
