Just because his family was racial, doesn't mean he has to be. That is not disobedience to prarents to not follow their ungodly mindsets. He mentions he was brought up in the south. But if Jesus is His Lord, then that wouldn't matter. Ephesians4:3,4 mentions about unity in Christ and no divisions.

Smokey Robinson recently said that although Motown is celebrating its 50th anniversary it feels like it happened only 10 years ago.

This guy was one of the first people I saw when I walked onto NC State's campus almost exactly 13 years ago today. It feels like 3.

Now even his voice sounds ridiculous to me.
