I have always wondered that too. On Fridays and Saturdays here they have both SVU and CI for like 4 hours... so it's like SVU then Ci then SVU again. So i suppose instead of saying law and order SVU and CI they just say Casefiles. It's stupid i know.

It's called case files because thats what TV1 (part of our/australias pay tv channels) have dubbed their "crime time" for a friday night. I guess when ur a cop you have case files and since they show different cases in each episode, TV1 decided to call it the Law & Order Case files, for 2 or 3 months it'll be 4 eps of CI and then it'll change to SVU
