Thanks for making this Fran. I think it happens to all of us. I just spent the past few days dealing with "Visitations" and then the Funeral for my Grandma yesterday. It's the worst when you are faced with so many people you havent seen in 5 yrs...while you are grieving as well. It makes you just want to run and hide!

I swear the same thing happens to me but my husband tells me it's just in my head.... he may be right but I think he's just trying to get me to deal with it better. I wish I had advice for you but I try to ignore it :)))

Fran, I've just watched this video and I like it! Since I have been fighting against anorexia I get so mad when someone keeps looking at my body, saying that I loose/gained a few pounds... it makes me feel so depressed... it's hard, but we need to face it! Keep strong! (Luciana)

All I can add is my pwn experience here Fran. For a long long time, I was "assessed" by what I looked like - namely my weight. What i have found, as time goes on, that the longer I stay well, the less likely people assess me that way. They actually start to ask me about how I feel, rather than make assumptions based on how I look. I hope that makes sense. Love Rache xxx

No worries. Things have been insanely crazy around home the past couple of weeks. I haven't even really been home to be honest! I think people just don't know "proper etiquette" to be frank about it. People are "generally" rude when NOT intending to be. Todays society is very "ME" based and people don't seem to think about anyone besides themselves. They certainly don't think about their actions or their words. They act w/o thinking.
