  • I'll have to change out her bedding asap!!!! and as far as her food im feeding her grapes, green beans, pinto beans. bird seed (only cause we got her from the pet store they told us thats what they were feeding her for two months and she was doing fine), and lettuce. I have a water dish in her tank with her just in case she does get dehydrated and i also spray down her tank once a day. But i will change her bedding before changing her diet to see if that helps..Thanks for the help

  • @shonah1984 I also recommend spring mix, escarole and endive.

  • Hey reptile guy my mali has discoloration on her noise and legs is that normal?? Ive only had her for 3 weeks now and shes fully grown Ive fallowed all the rules as how to take care of her, giving her the right foods, watch the temp and humidity, I have two hiding places for her, but for some reason its just spreading on her noise and legs what am i doing wrong?? plus we use sand that is from the pet store that is made for uromastyx its made out of walnuts am i still using the wrong sand??

  • @shonah1984 Don't use walnut shell it's the worst. I'd recommend using washed playsand. The discoloration could be signs of poor diet, lighting, humidity, or she could be going into shed. Basically it's a wide variety of problems. If the problem doesn't get better or she doesn't show signs of improvement, take her to the vet.

  • Hey reptileguy- My Uro is in need of some care. He's suffering from little use of his rear legs, well this will be taken care of soon as it has been very recent. It doesnt look painful but is very worrysome. Any idea on the condidtion? Also I read that sand and birdseed like substrates are the absolute worst to have... Sand i dont exactly understand. But the site looks quite credible. Any advice on what to use other than sand??

  • @Enders65 He possibly may have MBD. You can use paper towels for substrate too.
