My Marine/Saltwater Aquarium

Filmed with my Samsung TL34 HD. My 55-gallon aquarium. I have a Scopas Tang, Blue Devil Damsel, two Lemon Peel Damsels, Yellow Tail Damsel, Four Stripe Damsel, two Ocellaris Clowns, an Emerald Crab, a dozen assorted hermits and snails, and an Electric Blue Hermit (was molting so it was hiding out). I've had this setup for about 2.5 years now. Eventually I would like to get a 125-gallon aquarium but not for a while. I have two Aquaclear 300 filters, Coralife Protein Skimmer, Submariner UV Sterilizer, All Glass Triple Tube Fluorescent Ligts, 3 Aquaclear powerheads, led moon lights.

are you using aquaclear filter on this saltwater tank? do you think aquaclear 70 can handle a 40 gallon saltwater tank even though i'll put more rock? your answer will be very appreciated, thank you

@youmethem11111 Hi--I think that that is ample filtration for a 40 gallon. I think that the live rock that you'll have will also be beneficial.

How loud are your filters? Suitable for a bedroom?

@mitch5655 Hi--I'm running (2) 110's and they are not bad as far as noise. My protein skimmer drowns out the filters with bubbling noise. I used to have a 55 gal. with (1) 110 in my bedroom when I was in school and I was fine with it. If someone will be sleeping in there, I guess you may want to gauge how heavy a sleeper they are.... In my opinion, so long as there's no obstruction in the impeller, it should be relatively quiet. Hope this helps.

the aqua clear power head will help to keep fish happy and healthy as well? thats why most people do not have a sump?
