  • do the weed's seed go dormant or fully infertile after being passed thru the goat's system?

  • @mungeclimber From Mark: 97% of the seeds are inert after being passed. Of the 3% only one 10th. of one percent can become fertile. Goats have 4 stomachs with a very high metabolism which destroys most seeds. The rest get crushed while they chew their cud.

The seeds the plants broadcast spread, stay dormant up to 10 years.

  • Great initiative! I hope more people get interested and becomes a more widespread practice. Good work!
