Dude whats up the front shackles? why didnt he cut a hole in the frame and weld a tube in there like the kit? that tab will break off

@thatkidsmokin well it's been 2 years since the conversion and the tab has not broken off with HEAVY EXTREME offroading. as far as not doing the hole thing, i think it was a personal preference. Here it is youtube.com/watch?v=mqzyK0_2B6I

Appreciate it, if any body can answer this question. I have a 2 WD toyota tacoma. I want to know how much it would cost to to convert a 2 WD truck to 4 WD? Would it be financially smarter to sale the 2 WD and buy a 4x4 or would it be better just to convert it. Thanks in advance for the answer.

@dragonvue09 unless you have the 4x4 parts laying around, just buy a 4x4. the cost of converting is unknown because of where you will get your parts and labor. But lets just say that you are buying everything from the junk yard and installing it your self, $3-5k, but if you have a shop do it $5-10k. it could be cheaper if you want me to break it down, let me know. i need the year and what motor size. and how many lug nuts are the wheels.

Ma, dont worry about that guy. he's probably one of those that dropped out of high school. all talk, but cant read, write or spell. just like a dog, all bark no bite...

thanks for the concern. i wasn't worried but more amused. but you are right, he can neither spell or write and to top it off, he didn't even comprehend my reply. there are all kinds of people in this world, everyone has their place.
