We show an example of fire starting in Level 1 (Good) conditions. In these conditions, you should be able to find natural tinder easily, and it should be dry enough that you can light the tinder with a method that does not use up any significant amount of resources (such as a convex or Fresnel lens, parabolic mirror, firesteel or some other sparking tool, lighter, friction, etc.). For this fire, we use a Fresnel lens and give a few tips you help you get a fire going with this tool; but remember, any method you might be relying on should be tested extensively before you might need it!

  • @bmw911bmw911 No problem! It does take a bit of practice and experimentation on different materials, but I've tried to give some tips that will shortcut the process for you. Have fun!
