  • Great video - the area has changed beyond all recognition now, so it's good to see how things were. I lived in the East End until the early 80's, and remember the RT buses too.

  • @superteacher1000 - As an old 'Islander', I was intrigued to see this footage, which I found on another site. What a shame though that it concentrates on the three 'bridges' and not the rest of the Isle of Dogs, given all the changes in recent years, as you mentioned. Still, its a lovely piece of 'old' film, for all that!
