In the Orthodox Church the "Evening prayers" start with:
Vespers (often combinded with 9th hour)
Compline (often combined with Canon to the Most Holy Theotokos)
Midnight service
-
It really is amazing how sleep just seems to naturally follow Complline-It is so understandable why there is the Great or Grand Silence-Not much desire to speak with anyone except to drink in the quietness that is the Lord.
Thanks so much for the upload

Is it full record of compline? There aren't antiphons (Miserere mihi domine etc.) and Nunc dimittis in monastic night prayer?

@trivelt @trivelt yes this is full monastic TRADITIONAL compline PRE 1967, one must distinguish between Benedictine Compline(much simpler) pre-Vatian II , such as in this video,...and the Compline of the Roman Breviary(more complex), pre and post 1974 (which most , or all Novus Ordo Abbeys now use.)St. Benedict did not create Compline, but St. Benedict is thought to have given Compline its liturgical nature.

However, St. Benedict did not include Nunc dimittis in his Compline and it was the Roman Rite Breviary that completed the trio of canticles by adding Nunc dimittis to Compline. PAX

@trivelt as it ays in the video this is from the the Breviarium Monasticum 1963 and not, as perhaps you are more familiar with the The Roman Breviary 1974.
