  • read The Art of Non-Conformity

  • @BlakesNo1 I'm browsing it right now. Thank you.

  • Have you read "A cat's Cradle"? I'd like to hear your thoughts about that book.

  • @wolfganggangwolfe I have not. Nor have I read any Vonnegut. And I'd like to. Is there another Vonnegut book I should start with, or will that one do?

  • @thepeteris As a huge Vonnegut fan, I can confirm that Cat's Cradle is a great, great, GREAT place to start. HOWEVER. If you are more into books that are plot-heavy, I was very impressed with The Sirens of Titan. That's the second book he wrote, and it's definitely in my top three. Also in my top three is Breakfast of Champions. My top three is Cat's Cradle, Breakfast of Champions, and Sirens of Titan, but I can't pick a favorite from them.

So yeah, Cat's Cradle or Sirens of Titan. Enjoy!

  • @SpaceAndrew Thank you.

  • you remind me of comic book buy from the simpsons

  • by the way, nice haircut.

  • -I'm glad I watched this. I would've been very upset w/ the ending if I read it. That ending is NOT satisfactory, and I can not STAND books (OR movies) with endings like that

    *hug*

  • @thepeteris Read the wikipedia article about the authors life. It's absolutely amazing. He had a much more interesting life than his fictional character!

  • @thepeteris I started with that one, and I really enjoyed it, but I haven't read anything else by him. I haven't read On the Road, but what you said about it's plot may also be applied to a cat's Cradle, maybe...

  • @IwanttoliveinParis I'm pretty sure. There were many lengthy descriptions of Jazz bands.
