@truth2btold66 I knew he was a teacher but I thought he was from Harar. Thanks for the info. This song brings a lot of memory growing up in Asmara. I heard a young man play this song with a kirar at a "Tela Bet" in Asmara 2 years ago. A beautiful music that transcends language and generations. classic!

why dont u just download the audacity" software....record the song, save it and just put it into ur mp3? that is how i do it..so easy..try it..ok bro..

Mesfen Abebe is a cool cat. Born in Robit, Dessie, he was a teacher first before the public knew him as a singer.

i know my dad and mesfin went to the same school @ bahr dar poly technic and my father came out being electrician and mesfin musician :)
my dad was also born in dawedo, dessie and i am sure he knows him there as a teacher as well..
