So selfish, lying, stealing, killing Christians will be saved above kind, generous, atheists? And those Atheists will be tormented forever for merely not believing something isn't even apparent to all people. And you call your God loving?

@Cenamark2 Well first if you are a true Christian you would not Steal or kill, we know our sins are not just agains man but God also and that is much worse.

Atheists have nothing to worry about they are only Killing an sealing from man right? If they do not get caught then they are off scott free right?

Worshiping your creator is not so hard when you know who He is and all that He does for us every day! Mostly you know He loves us all, even the atheists.

@D3m190dI am happy that you have not stolen anything or killed anyone, but these are human morals. God makes it clear that if you just get angry with someone you are just like a murderer (Matthew 5:21-26) so sorry to say the facts are without Jesus we are all doomed to an eternal separation from God (aka Hell). So unless you have accepted Jesus as your Savior (John 3:16) you are not going to make it.

@Exodus314IAM Right... So we have person A, who is a christian, and person B, who is an Atheist. They both lead exactly the same 'goodness' in life, and both 'deserve' everything equally. The ONLY difference is that one is a christian, and one is an atheist. Only the christian goes to heaven? NO, wait, let's say the atheist did even better things than the christian, devoting his/her entire life to 'good' things. Still only the christian goes to heaven? If so, I'm sorry, but god is an ass. =|

How "Good" whould you be, would you run out of there as fast as you could? So who deserves heaven? You? Me? No way! God know your every thought and lust but He still loves you, so much He sent His only Son to die for you and me. Would you do that for someone?

Hmm, I wonder why our judicial system doesn't run on this great spiritual principle? Like when a serial killer kidnaps and rapes your 5 year old daughter, his really nice brother with a spotless record could just step in for him and cancel his dept. We exist because God exists, not vise a versa. We breath because He wills it. He didn't will us to sin, but He wills salvation for us, but we have to accept it. Jesus is salvation. He alone among men is good because He alone never sinned. His torture, His death, atoned for our sins, faults, iniquities. Salvation is open to everyone who is willing to repent & believe on Him. A potter doesn't take a cracked vessel & display it. He tosses it. God doesn't toss us, He offers us salvation in Jesus.

There are very good answers to your questions. God is not some lonely, needy guy in the sky demanding praise. He is 3 persons. The Father made the world FOR his son, to be a work of art in HIS honour, because he loved his son so much. And then the world spat on his son and murdered him. Check out Luke 20:9-18

To be honest though, what confuses me most is this very concept that you can disbelieve in God, on moral grounds? Can I do that? I don't like Mugabe, therefore he doesn't exist??

you know, i understand it exactly, its not about that evil man who believe in Jesus will be saved, its about that only pure person whithout sin can pass gates of paradise, so if you WHANT TO GO THERE AND IF YOU BELIEVE THATS ITS UP THERE, then ask for forgivines and for help, surely, you will got help, every one have somethink that he is shamed for, but isnt it beautifull that some one can forgive you all?
