Gloria Achucarro was awarded a prestigious Olympic Bronze Medal in Beijing, China, on May 31 as part of the 2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture Contest . The sculpture design will be displayed at the Olympics this summer, along with the works of 29 finalists who received gold, silver, and bronze medals.
Her work Tiempo y Ser ( Time and Being ) was exhibited throughout major cities in China and the rest of the world .

Una escultura de bronce creada por Gloria Achucarro fue recientemente premiada con una medalla olímpica en el Concurso de Esculturas Beijing 2008 , realizado con motivo de la Olimpíadas en China . Su obra "Ser y Tiempo" será expuesta en la Villa Olimpica este invierno junto a los otros 28 escultores que obtuvieron medallas de bronce , plata y oro y fue exhibida en la gira internacional realizada por las principales ciudades del mundo junto a los 100 finalistas del cetamen
