How to get gmod 9

This is the FREE version of gmod before retail. In this vid i show you how to get gmod without hl2:ep1 and ep2. this version isn't as good as retail but it is a very good mod. this version has little add-ons. This version has online play And doesn't require hl2.

Q:Does it works with teamfortress or with only day of defeat or with css.

A: I don't know Test it. It should work with CSS,Source SDK Base and HL2:DM.

Q: I don't see it in mygames list.

A: Do you have: HL2:DM, CSS, Source SDK Base. And have you restarted steam?
If you don't find it then it just don't work on you.

Q:Where I can download Source SDKBase

A:In steams Tools Part or at last when you star the game it download it automaticaly.

Q:I have HL2:DM demo will this work.

A:I think it won't but if it works then there will be many errors.

Q:Do I need css

A:Yes I think so.

Q:Where I can get css,hl2:dm.

A:Buy them.

Q:Where I can get source SdkBase it's free source tool you can dowload it in tools parts in Steam.

Q:I have downloaded these in torrents why these don't work.

A:....

Q: I have hl2 and it doesnt work.

A: go in the gmod 9 file find a file named "gameinfo" and open it. in there theres the number 215, change it to 220

help, i got gmod 9 and it works but i cant click play singleplayer game. it wont let me click it. So then i load map by console and then it works but i dont have any guns and i cant open the spawn menu. I dont have counter strike, could that be the issue?

if you have Half Life:Source or Half Life 2 you can play gmod

now let's get started

1. Right Click on your Half life:Source or Half life 2

2. Then press Properties

3.as you can see "Target" in the HL2 or HL:S Properties then put -console - game gmod9or10or11 like this............

"D:\Half life\hl2.exe" -console -game gmod9

4.Open It

5.Then you done!!

you know what if you download any gmod versions and put in the steam folder does not work because they update the steam that's why you cannot play gmod in steam
